Animated Explainer Videos

An animated explainer video is a great way to introduce an app or service that has a unique concept to it while also explaining its benefits. Here’s an example we made for ZoomX:

Animation is best for giving viewers the “big picture” overview of a tool, and can be an ideal first introduction for use on your website or as an investor pitch. Animation is also a great option if your product isn’t quite ready to be shown in action – these videos can show how it will work (even if it doesn’t work at all yet). We made this video for Bundle Select, a real estate startup, before they were officially ready to launch:

Animated explainer videos can be expensive, so apps that already look good and are conceptually straightforward (like task management, communications, or calendar apps) should consider a video that is more focused on the user experience.

New or novel concepts that viewers aren’t familiar with
Technologies that are still in development and aren’t ready to show in action
Explaining difficult or abstract concepts, like the benefits of a SaaS tool
